Being a student later in life has not taken away from my family, but rather has given me the confidence to be an equal partner in my marriage and a better role model for my children and In my educational career, I have chosen to round myself, rather than fitting into a traditional box. I have classes in a variety of subjects and devoted myself to student leadership and service. Business classes have developed my supervisory skills; communication practicum classes in radio production and newspaper gave me new ways to express a message. Honors classes have challenged me, requiring me to use critical thinking skills.
